This administrator retreat offers programming tailored to the distinct needs of school leaders.  Topics addressed include communication / messaging that inspires felt safety, working with defense mobilized parents & families, engaging community for increased partnership / support, & educating school board members about regulation.

This in-person professional development will enable school leaders to build internal capacity for addressing educator burnout and student dysregulation.  Overnight lodging is available for everyone for the first night of September 24th, free of charge. If you choose to take us up on this you will be sharing a cabin at Camp Wavus with 4-5 other educators.

This 2-day training, totaling 12-hours, is designed to provide participants a thorough understanding of the theories, practices, and tools of The Regulated Classroom©. Emphasis will be placed upon participants recognizing their own patterns of stress activation and release.

Participants will receive a certificate upon completion and training materials along with an Educator Self-Care Toolkit and 15 guidebooks to bring back to their school or district.  Paid for by the Maine Department of Education.

Attendees are encouraged to return to their respective schools or organizations to train their colleagues in the 4 core practices and essential educator capacities of the approach.
